Celeb Scam
This is a very common scam. They hide behind celebrities and other good looking profiles or they make one up. 

This is used to deceive innocent fans into believing that they are following a real page. They can be scammed by selling fake merchandise, fake show tickets and fake features. Beware of scams like this, a real page should always be verified.

The gullible will readily believe that their ‘popular star’ is interested in them and their doings. Scammers prey on this hero worship and defraud a sufficiently large proportion out of money on all sorts of ridiculous tales.

No ‘real deal’ star has the remotest interest in you - a sad but true fact of life - there will never be a genuine contact from them.

If you feel intimidated by someone, don’t respond, or be bothered with them. be bigger then they are. The internet is full of nonsense, and it thrives because they feel like they are getting away with something.

Most importantly, stay away from social media. it’s a cesspool of everything negative.

How To Stay Healthy
The demand for health services has increased over the last decade due to the prevalence of non-communicable diseases in Malaysia. So, as lifestyle diseases and illnesses become more common, the demand for medical treatment for older people drives up medical inflation.

Good health is not just the absence of disease or illness, it is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being. This means eating a balanced diet, getting regular exercise, avoiding tobacco and drugs and getting plenty of rest.

I am not going to go into a long detailed answer. If you are like me, you will read the first few sentences and on to the next. So here we go.

Eat healthy - Watch what you eat. Small portions only.

Get regular exercise - Exercise Exercise Exercise. I can’t say that enough. You don't have to go to the gym. Doing daily activities like cleaning up around the house will do wonders. Just moving is the best advice.

Protect your skin - Avoid long exposures to the sun. Vitamin D is essential but normal outdoor activity will give you sufficient vitamin D. Wear thin long sleeve garments.

Limit use of tobacco - yes, that includes vaping. We know what tobacco products can do. We are now finding what vaping can do. Neither is good.

Limit your alcohol consumption - This can cause all kinds of problems including embarrassment. For your sake, please limit the intake of alcohol.

In summary, no one is perfect. If we do some of the things listed above. We just might live a healthier life.

Perak
I was born in Perak and now live in Selangor after moving from Kuala Lumpur.

Perak is a state of Malaysia on the west coast of the Malay Peninsula. 

The head of state is the Sultan of Perak, and the head of government is Menteri Besar. Perak is ethnically, culturally and linguistically diverse. The state is known for several traditional dances: bubu, dabus, and labu sayong, the latter name also referring to Perak's unique traditional pottery. 

Perak has land borders with the Malaysian states of Kedah to the north, Penang to the northwest, Kelantan and Pahang to the east, and Selangor to the south. Thailand's Yala and Narathiwat provinces both lie to the northeast. 

Perak's capital city, Ipoh, was known historically for its tin-mining activities until the price of the metal dropped, severely affecting the state's economy. 

The royal capital remains Kuala Kangsar, where the palace of the Sultan of Perak is located.



What Does October Mean to Me?
October means a lot of things to me. Firstly, my birthday is on October the 13. Like you, I’ve been swept up in the sea of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook posts and self-help gurus, coaches who tell us to rest, restore our nervous system, and resist the hustle.


And I have been getting a lot of advance birthday wishes too. From everything I've read, some say it's very bad luck to wish someone a happy birthday before their actual birthday.


Yeah, birthdays are always special, to me, be it the 20th or 40th or 60th. However fun you can have on this day, it is still a strong reminder of you are aging. I'm not being pessimistic here but as you age, you grow, you mature, you experience a lot.


All that’s well and good. My resolution this year isn’t about taking naps or turning off my phone an hour before bedtime, although I’m doing that, too. My decision is to take better care of myself. Yep, this is probably the most typical decision that anyone makes. And Say “NO” more often.


Oh, and Happy Birthday To Me!
